Jon serves as Managing Partner in the Financial Officers Practice, based in the firm’s Toronto office. Combining strong expertise in finance and accounting and a demonstrated history working in the human capital industry, Jon is a trusted advisor to his clients seeking top talent across industry sectors.

Jon brings more than 17 years of executive search experience focusing primarily on financial, operational, and human resources roles across a variety of industry sectors, including business & professional services, private equity, real estate, consumer & retail, financial services, and nonprofits.

Prior to joining DHR, Jon served as Partner at a global human capital firm specializing in career transition, talent development, and executive search. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Partner at boutique and international financial services recruitment agencies. Prior to his human capital career, Jon worked in public accounting and mergers & acquisitions with a Big Four firm for nearly 15 years.

Jon holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in co-op accountancy from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant. Jon is a member of the Finance & Audit Committee for Parkinson Canada, the Finance Committee and Board for ACO (Adoption Council of Ontario), and the Finance Committee and soon-to-be Board for the JCCC (Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre). Jon also volunteers his time to DECA and CPA Ontario.
