Buckner also specializes in hospitality searches, informed by hands-on operational experience through his family’s restaurant business. He brings a practical understanding of owner-operator environments, customer-driven economics, and frontline leadership demands to his work with hospitality and consumer-facing clients.
Buckner began his search career in London with an RPO firm focused on advanced technology, banking, and financial services before relocating to the United States. He holds an MBA with a concentration in leadership and strategy from Wake Forest University, along with bachelor’s degrees in economics and international studies from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and daughter and remains actively involved in his family’s local restaurant business.
