Mike Magsig

Managing Partner, Global Board & CEO Practice

Mike serves as Managing Partner and leads DHR’s Global Board & CEO Practice, specializing in recruiting C-suite executives and board directors. He has successfully placed more than 300 C-level positions in a wide range of industries and geographies.

Prior to joining DHR, Mike served as Managing Director of the Board & CEO Services Practice for a leading global executive search firm, and led the firm’s Insurance Practice to industry prominence.

Before entering the executive search industry, Mike served as Chairman, President and CEO of The Cologne Life Reinsurance Company for nearly 10 years, leading it to a six-fold increase in profits and revenues during this period and substantially increasing shareholder value.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Huntington University, and holds the FLMI, CLU and LLIF designations. He has served on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards of directors.
