In a role unique to the executive search industry, April is responsible for building DHR’s global talent strategy. She works closely with the firm’s CEO, leaders across the organization and a team of 10 located in the US, Europe and Asia to acquire and retain top talent.
In 2004, April joined Jobplex, a DHR company, as a researcher. She was soon promoted to Principal and then to Director of Research. This bloomed into working with the founder and CEO as Vice President of Talent Acquisition, leading DHR’s talent strategy.
Prior to her career in executive search, she was an Associate for a family owned and female led HR consulting firm. To this day, April draws on the valuable experience she gained from this role, having managed highly sensitive information for Fortune 100 clients. With 20 years of industry experience, she is a trusted resource for search professionals around the world. She brings a long-term, relationship-driven focus to all her work, building ties with key leaders across major global markets.
April is an alumna of Michigan State University. Outside of the office she can be found creative writing, painting, gardening or walking one of her four dogs with her husband, Eric. They are passionately dedicated to Saving Moses, a global humanitarian organization saving babies every day by meeting the most urgent survival needs where help is least available.
