Gordon White serves as partner in the firm’s Lansing, Michigan office. He also is a leader of DHR’s Automotive Industry sector of the worldwide Industrial Practice. Gordon possesses more than 15 years of senior management level experience consulting with a variety of manufacturing companies, as well as a number of financial services, non-profit, and healthcare organizations.
Prior to DHR, Gordon was principal of Glengarry Associates, a consulting practice which spanned the human resource spectrum, providing consulting support for various industrial concerns including Tower Automotive (where he served a year as an interim vice president). He has also successfully completed a number of non-industrial assignments with various organizations throughout the Midwest.
Additionally, Gordon has held various senior managerial positions within General Motors Corporation. These positions included Director of Human Resources for GM’s Lansing Automotive Division, Director of Personnel and Public Relations for GM’s Harrison Division, Director of Personnel for the Detroit Diesel Allison Division, Executive Compensation Administrator for GM’s Corporate Staff and Personnel Director, North American Operations for GM’s Packard Electric Division.
Gordon received his BA in Economics from Colgate University. He also completed the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
Gordon serves on the board of directors of the Physician’s Review organization of Michigan and The Capital Area Health Alliance. Gordon chairs the worker’s Compensation Advisory Committee for the State on Michigan.
