Gerlinde serves as a Partner in the Industrial and Consumer/Luxury Goods Practice in Europe. She is based in the firm’s Vienna, Munich and Frankfurt offices, serving her client base in the DACH region.
With 20 years of executive search experience predominantly in the manufacturing industry with a particular focus on automotive, machinery and packaging, Gerlinde has an in-depth understanding of the business dynamic and executive talent demands in this sector. Her second field of specialization is in the area of consumer/luxury goods & retail. She has gained excellent insight into the fastest growing markets while managing key recruitments for her clients all over the globe.
Before joining DHR, Gerlinde worked for Neumann & Partners executing assignments for mainly privately held/family companies. For two years, she had also been strengthening the Asia Pacific Competence Center based in Cologne, where she mainly worked on search assignments in the APAC region. In addition, she brings experience in working for executive search firms in Switzerland, Austria and CEE. For several years, she worked as regional director with full P&L responsibility for a region encompassing six offices in CEE.
Gerlinde studied at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon and holds a master’s degree in international business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as a doctoral degree in economic sciences. She is fluent in English, French and German and has a good command of Spanish.
