Ed Flowers brings more than 35 years of senior-level Human Resources experience to his clients across all industry sectors.
As Managing Partner, Consumer, Human Resources and Diversity Practices in DHR’s Atlanta office, Ed has helped to grow the firm’s presence across the Greater Atlanta area. Ed is a member of DHR’s North American Executive Committee. As an Executive Committee member, he will help create, inform and shape firm strategies and have a voice in guiding the company’s major decisions.
Ed was named Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for Corelle Brands, LLC in December 2011. In this role he provided human resources leadership globally with a primary focus on executive compensation, total rewards, talent management, organizational capability and employee engagement strategies to ultimately provide a competitive human capital advantage.
Previously, Ed was the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer for publicly traded, $2B Russell Corporation. There he was responsible for the overall global human resources function for the corporations’ 16,000 employees reporting directly to the CEO. Ed served as the Global Vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer for privately held Merisant Company (spun off from Monsanto) and was Global Vice President Human Resources at the $6B Monsanto Agriculture Co. Conceived at Monsanto and implemented at Merisant and Russell, Flowers designed global talent management process that was considered progressive and best in class, key differentiation was usage of firms and development processes to anticipate needs
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He has also completed an Executive Management Program at Wharton School of Business and Executive Human Resources Program at the University of Michigan.
