Marcey Rubin Stamas

Managing Partner, Global Consumer & Retail Practice and Chicago Office; North American Executive Committee Member

Marcey is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Global Consumer & Retail Practice Group and is based in the Chicago office. She is the longest tenured female partner at DHR.

Marcey joined DHR in 1998 and has been instrumental in the growth of the Retail and Consumer Practices. An original member of DHR’s board of directors, Marcey was added to the DHR Hall of Fame in 2017 and named Global Consumer Practice Group leader in 2021 and Global Consumer & Retail Practice Leader in 2022. She additionally sits on the North American Executive Committee as an advisor the CEO.

With more than 25 years in executive search, her expertise spans consumer, retail, hospitality, fintech and health & wellness. With nearly 1000 executive searches successfully completed within omni-channel, DTC and B2B businesses, Marcey is known for speed to market, high-quality client and candidate engagement skills and her personal involvement in all aspects of every search.

For more than two decades, Marcey has been recognized as one of the firm’s leading consultants and is known for her successful attraction of talent at the CEO, board and officer levels across all functional areas in public, private and private equity companies, including Danone, David Yurman, Davidson Hospitality, Disney, DFIN, First Republic Bank, Mars Corporation, Michaels Stores, NYX Cosmetics, Peter Millar, Raley’s, Ross Stores, Unilever Prestige and WellHaven Pet Health.
