Eric Dieny

Partner

Eric serves as Partner in the firm’s Shanghai office with a focus on helping foreign companies doing business in China. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English and French and has been living in Greater China since 1982.

Eric has managed and conducted assignments to recruit C-level and senior-level executives in the industrial sector, advanced technology, manufacturing, sales, marketing, RD, engineering, supply chain, finance, human resources, digital, IT and other disciplines. His clients have ranged from pre-IPO, venture-backed start-ups to Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries including advanced materials, semiconductors, wireless, IT hardware & software and various industrial products. He has sourced candidates worldwide for leadership positions based in Greater China and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to joining DHR, Eric was President and Principal Owner of a recognized boutique executive search firm with offices in China and Taiwan, for 10 years. He has also been General Manager of the Taiwan office of a leading Asian executive search firm.

Eric has been invited to speak on leadership and executive team building by the Economist Corporate Network, the American Chamber of Commerce, the European Chamber of Commerce, the China CIO Alliance and other business groups in Greater China.

He holds a post-graduate degree in business administration from Institut d’Administration des Entreprises d’Aix-en-Provence and a Master of Arts in Chinese from Paris University.
