Shahauna serves as a Partner for DHR and leads the Canadian Higher Education Practice. With over a decade of experience in Executive Search and serving at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, she brings a vast network of highly educated and successful candidates.

Shahauna focuses on helping clients attract and recruit transformational leadership for their organizations. She brings in-depth expertise in complex public institution recruitment, as well as across broader private industries including renewables, oil & gas, power, technology, retail and financial services.

Shahauna was a winner of the 2017 Management Alumni of Excellence Award for the Haskayne School of Business in recognition of individual excellence in innovation, support of business education and service to the university. She leads the search for the Distinguished Business Leader Award nominating committee, is Chair of Mindfuel and is on the Dean’s Management Advisory Committee and the Executive Advisory Committee of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Haskayne School of Business.

Shahauna holds an Enterprise Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from Bishop’s University. She also holds a certificate from Cornell University from the Advanced Program for Executive Search Consulting.
