Jennifer Skylakos serves as Managing Partner and Head of the Global Infrastructure and Energy Funds Practice.
Prior to joining DHR International, Jennifer served as a Managing Partner with Sousou Partners, where she was Head of Infrastructure and Energy for the Americas, and Real Estate and Hospitality in Latin America.
Jennifer started her career as an Attorney Advisor through the Attorney General’s Honors Program at the Department of Justice, and then as an Associate at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP in New York City, specializing in corporate immigration law. Prior to Sousou Partners, Jennifer was the Manager of Special Events for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, where she helped raise millions of dollars for critically and chronically ill children in the Tri-state area.
Jennifer graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations and received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, with a Certificate of Concentration in Global Law & Practice. Jennifer is involved in a variety of missions at Michigan State, including the Spartan Women and Philanthropy group. She is also an Executive Committee Member on the New York Board of the Positive Coaching Alliance, whose mission is to transform the youth sports culture into a Development Zone® where all youth and high school athletes have a positive, character-building experience that results in better athletes, better people.
Jennifer lives in Harlem with her husband and two boys, ages 10 and 13.
