Sara Garlick Lundberg

Sara is Managing Partner, North America for the Nonprofit Practice. She specializes in the recruitment of senior leaders for nonprofits around the globe.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Sara specializes in nonprofit search consulting, organizational assessment and executive transitions. She works across the health, education, human service, conservation, arts and youth development spaces to secure executive leadership, as well as with CEOs to identify senior talent in the areas of finance, fundraising, operations and research. Her clients have included

JDRF, Vera Institute for Justice, Echoing Green, Child Mind Institute, Physicians for Human Rights, the How Institute for Society, Guttmacher Institute, New York University, Georgetown University and DePaul University.

Sara began her career as a Journalist at The Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney magazine. She later became a nonprofit fundraising leader, working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals to raise funds for organizations including Absolute Return for Kids US, Children for Children (now GenerationOn), and The Children’s Aid Society.

Sara earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College. In her spare time, she volunteers for women running for public office, and with American Corporate Partners, coaching veterans who are seeking professional roles in the civilian world. She is a hiker and podcast obsessive who dreams of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
