Esther McGregor

As a key member of DHR’s Nonprofit Practice Group, Esther is also experienced in C-suite searches in the public sector, including governmental crowns/agencies and infrastructure organizations. She is deeply attuned to the unique challenges facing these sectors.

Her expertise spans multiple industries, including the public sector, nonprofit, social impact, and industrial fields. Having led searches in Canada and other countries, Esther offers a global perspective and a nuanced approach to identifying diverse leadership talent. Known for her collaborative style, Esther is dedicated to building strong partnerships with her clients, candidates, and colleagues and delivering thorough, robust, and transparent search processes that lead to exceptional results.

Outside of her professional work, Esther is passionate about contributing to her community. She volunteers at St. James Music Academy, located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, where she supports the development of young musicians.

Esther holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in information management and organizational development from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). She is also an active board member and leader within the International Women’s Forum, British Columbia.
