Kris McFeely

Kris has worked extensively with national and regional nonprofits across education, healthcare, social services, and the arts, identifying executives who align their missions and long-term goals. With deep expertise in fundraising, operations, marketing, finance, and CEO and senior leadership transitions, Kris has successfully placed executives in organizations ranging from grassroots nonprofits to national foundations, museums, healthcare institutions, and environmental organizations.

Before her executive search career, Kris spent 10 years at the John G. Shedd Aquarium as a Senior Animal Care Specialist. In that role, she oversaw daily care and training for the marine mammal collection and managed the college internship program, mentoring students who aspired to work in zoo and aquarium-related fields.

Recognized as one of Crain’s 2020 Notable Leaders in HR, Kris has forged strong partnerships with board members, C-suite executives, and high-potential talent across the nonprofit sector. She serves on the Program Committee of the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants.
