Based out of the San Francisco office, Tessa is a member of True’s Go-To-Market practice where she leads C-Suite and VP-level B2B searches for high-growth VC, PE & Public companies. Prior to joining True, Tessa worked for 6 years in Executive Search, successfully completing numerous GTM searches for high-growth startups across a broad range of technology verticals.

Before Executive Search, Tessa held GTM operational roles for 12 years in EdTech at McGraw Hill & Pearson Education in Sales, Marketing and as a Senior Product Manager (directly responsible for $25M P&L) and Senior Director of Product & Digital Strategy (right-hand lieutenant of GM – $300M BU).

Tessa graduated from Northwestern University. After graduating she joined Teach For America as a math and science teacher, providing equitable education in underserved communities in NYC and SF.

Outside of work you can find Tessa enjoying life with her husband, Alan, and her 2 year old son, Pete.
