Peterson focuses on private equity, specializing in go-to-market, strategy, corporate development, and portfolio operations roles.

Prior to True, Peterson spent over six years at ECA Partners, where he was a managing director focused on retained and interim search placements across private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Prior to his time in executive search, Peterson worked in business development for several VC-backed startups in Los Angeles.

Peterson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Alabama, he has been living in Santa Monica for nearly a decade. While he will never adopt the LA sports teams, he does consider it to be home now.
