Alex Klein

Principal

As a principal, Alex focuses exclusively on engineering and product leadership searches for consumer internet, consumer retail and B2B SaaS companies at all stages, from series A through IPO.  Over the course of his career, Alex has split his time between Los Angeles and the SF Bay area, in which time he has gained a tremendous understanding of both ecosystems.

Prior to joining True as a principal, Alex began his professional search career at Ejento where he focused on hiring leaders at the director and department head level for seed – series B startups and growth stage companies in Los Angeles.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and accounting from Northern Arizona University and currently lives in Hermosa Beach where he enjoys surfing, fishing and walking the strand with his canine companion, Petey.
