Katherine Lee is a Partner in True’s New York office and a member of the Global Consumer Practice. Katherine works with clients who are seeking to elevate and transform customer engagement and customer experience across consumer, lifestyle and health and wellness brands. She works with established and emerging consumer businesses developing high-performance teams and enabling new growth agendas. Katherine partners with Boards and C-Suite leaders and her recruitment focuses on CEO, CXO, and senior digital and marketing roles.
Before joining True, Katherine was a Consultant with Spencer Stuart in the Global Consumer and Retail Practices. She partnered with private, public and private equity-back boards and senior executives in leadership recruitment and development. Prior to that, Katherine was a Senior Client Partner with Korn Ferry where she spent over eleven years focusing on general management, chief experience, senior marketing and growth officer roles with public and privately held companies. She was on the Steering Committee of the firm’s Marketing Officers and Digital Practices.
Prior to executive search, Katherine was a marketing consultant for Mercer, a global adviser in human resources and talent solutions services. She spent several years with UBS, in marketing roles focusing on institutional and retail clients. Earlier in her career, Katherine focused on multi-platform launches and online customer experiences at the Walt Disney Internet Group.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Benjamin Franklin Fellow. She speaks fluent French and was a lecturer at the University of Paris for several years.
