Mickey Matthews is currently International Chairman after previously serving as Vice Chairman, Practice Groups, which both positions place him on the Global Board for Stanton Chase. Concurrently to his role as Vice Chairman, Practice Groups he was the Global Industrial Practice Leader after having served as Vice President, North America, previously. He is also a Director and Officer of the Baltimore/Washington office and previously served as Global Director of Marketing for the firm. Mickey’s experience at Stanton Chase has been generalist in scope, with a focus in working cross-functionally for global clients in the industrial, professional services and consumer products sectors primarily.
Over the last several years, Mickey has successfully executed numerous senior management assignments in general management, business development, operations and finance for example, for numerous clients—including companies such as ADM, Aramark, Axalta, Tyco, Deloitte Touche, Kohler, DuPont and others. He joined the practice after four years as a Senior Associate with an investment-consulting firm in Maryland, developing and implementing financial strategies for clients while obtaining his Series 6,7 and 63 licenses. A multiyear All-Ivy League lacrosse player at Brown University, he achieved All-American honors and captained the team his senior year in 1985 when the team achieved a final ranking of #6 in the country. Mickey received a B.A. degree in Business and Economics, with distinction, from Brown University. He also graduated Beta Sigma Gamma from the Fellows Executive MBA program, Loyola College, Maryland in 1999 and serves on the Board of the Sellinger School for Business.
