David Florence
Director
David Florence is a Director in the Los Angeles, California office. He has over 30 years of experience as a technology executive, bringing a unique perspective to our search practice. For 20 of those 30 years, David worked as a product, marketing and business development executive in the hardware, telecommunication and software sectors. His career has included senior roles at Goto.com, Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, David worked with both large corporations andseveral smaller start-up companies looking to change their business focus. In addition, he has started and worked for executive search firms focused on IT leadership and marketing executives.
David is an adjunct professor at the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University where heteaches Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, CEO Strategy, and New Venture Management at the graduate school. David now resides in Los Angeles with his wife of thirty years and their teenage daughter. In addition to finding the perfect match between client and candidate, David enjoys movies, tennis, and collects fountain pens, watches & high tech gear. David is a self-described nerd who loves to talk about mobile computing, wireless solutions and high tech gadgets.
