Clinical psychologist, hospital administrator, engineer, and expert rock climber. These describe Jeff’s 35-year career focused on influencing change in people and organizations by capitalizing on growth and change through leadership selection and development. Jeff’s work in healthcare, manufacturing, and engineering has taken him to 38 countries around the world. As an internationally recognized thought leader and educator on the prevention of burnout and self-directed violence associated with mass violence and disasters, Jeff has also worked with military and government agencies on three continents. In Jeff’s 35 year career he has served in CEO, COO, and VP HR/OD and Labor Relations roles, providing a solid foundation for his ongoing work over the last many years in retained executive search in healthcare, higher education, and non-profit industry.

His expertise as a retained search consultant and cross-cultural skill with behavioral assessments have enabled Jeff to place qualified leaders who make a difference in roles of influence around the world. He has been the recipient of the prestigious Workforce Optimas Award for Financial Impact, the Gallup National Healthcare Excellence Award for Culture Change, Gallup World Class Manager President’s Club Award, and the Saratoga Institute’s Global Best Practice Award for financial growth. Jeff has appeared in Healthcare Executive, Workforce, Business Finance, and Church Executive magazines for business leadership excellence. Jeff also serves as a National Expert-in-Residence for stress fatigue and stress disorders with the Wellness Council of America. WELCOA is a 6,000+ member organization providing wellness and well-being solutions to corporate America. Jeff’s professional memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives, National Association of Addiction Professionals, American Association for Suicidology, International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the Coalition for Physician Well-Being. Jeff serves as the Chairman of the Board for Olive Branch International, a humanitarian relief organization serving post-disaster in countries closed or limited to outsiders.

He also serves on the board of Full Circle Recovery, a mental health and substance abuse treatment hospital. A lifetime focus on humanitarian aid is shown in Jeff’s pro-bono part-time service as a clinical director for a licensed and accredited forty-three-bed behavioral health hospital. Jeff is also the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder with his wife Nancy for the Hidden Value Group, an organization bringing healing, health, and hope to the world through healthcare, education, and leadership development. They have completed more than 300 projects in 22 countries over 25 years responding to war and violence, famine and disease, poverty and hunger. When Jeff isn’t on the job he is most likely with his wife Nancy on the rocks climbing or in the water fly fishing.
