Ian MacNeil

Ian MacNeil serves as Senior Search Consultant in the North Bay Region of San Francisco, concentrating on recruiting assignments for the Northern California Wine, Food and Consumer Products Industries. He has over 25 years of experience in the Wine and Hospitality fields in leadership, operations, finance and sales. His broad expertise in the wine industry also includes global product sourcing, importing and direct-to-consumer marketing. A native of California, Ian has led large employee groups through new business start-ups, aggressive corporate expansions, and challenging downsizing events. His leadership and management experience resulted in his creating the Hospitality Management Program at Napa Valley College, and he continues to teach students at the college level, both nationally and globally.
His work was formally recognized by the Great Wine Capitals Global Network in Bordeaux, France in 2009. Ian holds a MBA from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts and Teaching Credential from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Hospitality Educator, and serves on a number of regional wine industry advisory boards in both Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Ian serves on both the Consumer Products and Services and Government, Education, Non-Profit Practice Groups.
