Sachin Rajan

Managing Director/Area/Country Manager/Regional Sector Coordinator

Sachin Rajan is a member of the firm’s Healthcare and Consumer Sectors. He advises local and multinational corporations at the board, CEO and CXO levels and coordinates the Healthcare Practice across the Asia Pacific region. He also serves as the firm’s Country Manager in India.

 

 

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Sachin joined us from a leading global search firm where he served as the Office Manager for their offices in India. He also co-led the firm’s global generics initiative within the Healthcare Sector. While healthcare was his primary focus, he was also active in the Consumer Sector. Before that, Sachin launched and led the oncology business for Bristol-Myers Squibb in India, having earlier led the information technologies vertical business for GE Medical Systems in South Asia, where he also served as country manager within the Wipro-GE joint venture. He began his career with the Ranbaxy Group in India and played a lead role in establishing the SRL Ranbaxy joint venture, South Asia’s first and, to-date, largest clinical laboratory network.

EDUCATION

Sachin has a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and an M.B.A. from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, a leading Indian business school.
