Flavia Leão Fernandes is a key member of the firm’s Leadership & Succession practice, where she works closely with Brazilian and Latin American client teams. Flavia is a trusted client advisor, specializing in succession processes, talent strategy, executive leadership development, performance management and culture transformation. She works with both regional and multinational clients across a range of industries, including petrochemicals, infrastructure, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and nonprofit. Flavia is based in São Paulo.

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Flavia joined Russell Reynolds Associates after more than 10 years with a leading international executive search firm, where she was a Senior Principal and the Head of Assessment and Succession. Previously, she led the headhunting division at MBA Empresarial, an HR consultancy firm in São Paulo. During her tenure, she was responsible for building the business and working with some of the country’s largest and most visible corporations.

 

EDUCATION

Flavia holds a BA in psychology, with honors, from Londrina State University in Brazil, an MSc in developmental psychology from the University of London, and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
