Managing Director/Area/Country Manager

Filiep Deforche leads the firm’s Brussels office and is a senior member of the Board & CEO Advisory Partners. He works closely with senior leadership to recruit top talent, assess management teams and enable transformation across sectors, with deep experience in the Industrial and Financial Services and Sectors. Filiep leverages a strong strategy consulting background to effectively work with leadership teams and boards of both local and international clients of all sizes.

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Filiep joined Russell Reynolds Associates from the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked for 25 years. During his tenure, he worked in a number of European offices and served clients across Europe, Africa, Asia and the US to counsel clients on strategy, organization/talent, M&A and digital implementation for a variety of sectors. Filiep also held several leadership roles at BCG, including head of their Brussels office and member/leader of various partner evaluation and compensation committees at regional and global levels. He was a member of the firm’s Regional Management Team and led the Organization and People Practice Area for Western Europe and South America.

 

EDUCATION

Filiep holds an MSc in civil mechanical-electrical engineering from Ghent University and an MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, both in Belgium. He is also a Certified Leadership Performance Coach and a board member of SOS Children’s Villages in Belgium. Filiep is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
