Jonas Augustson

Managing Director/Area/Country Manager

Jonas Augustson is the firm’s Country Manager in Sweden and focuses on search and assessment assignments for companies across the industrial and high-tech and communications sectors. He has completed numerous Board, CEO, COO, CCO and technology roles in both private as well as public companies. Jonas has considerable experience advising clients on senior-level appointments and has extensive expertise in industrial as well as the broader technology sectors.

 

RECENT CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Jonas advises consumer durables and industrial businesses address new digital talent as part of industrial and company transformation. He also leads succession planning assignments for Board and CEO appointments and conducts searches for functional roles including operations, finance and HR. Jonas recently helps corporations develop and implement processes to build cyber security capabilities.

Jonas has considerable experience advising clients on senior-level appointments and has extensive expertise in the industrial goods, telecom and consumer durables market. Some of his notable projects include helping a leading operator address new virtualized network strategies, as well as accelerating digital transformation at significant consumer durables multinationals. He is also leading several CEO succession projects for leading listed and private companies.

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining the firm, Jonas worked for the Swedish Trade Council where served on the Executive Committee and was Vice President Central Europe and Asia Regions.  Prior to that position, he was the Country Manager for Germany. Jonas began his career within the Strategic Services group at Accenture.

 

EDUCATION

Jonas received his M.Sc. in International Business Administration and Economics at the University of Linköping. He is fluent in Swedish, English and German.
