Andrés is a Managing Partner of Horton International Chile, part of the Southern Cone region. Before joining the firm, he founded and acted as General Manager of South America Retail Group. Previously, he was country manager of Integration Consulting, with business responsibility for Chile, Colombia and Perú.
Between 2003 and 2010, Andrés held senior managerial positions at Cencosud S.A.; he acted as Country Manager of Cencosud Colombia, General Manager of Easy Colombia and Corporate Planning and Business Development Manager at Cencosud group of companies. Other firms in which Andrés has had managerial positions are Booz & Company (1997-2000) and JP Morgan Chase (1992-1995).
Andrés teaches Strategy, Entrepreneurial and International Business courses at the Business Administration undergraduate program and at the MBA program of Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad del Desarrollo.
He was member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board between 2014 and 2017 and is currently a member of the Board of FundaciónIndependízate.
