Anja brings a dynamic, energetic and very human approach to the areas of personal- and team coaching, career counseling and recruitment.

Building on her experience in executive search, consultancy, coaching and counseling, Anja is now responsible for Horton International’s Transition Support services. This innovative new offering from Horton provides expert support to successful candidates in the transition to their new working environment. The aim is to enable new recruits to reach their peak performance with a new employer or in a new role as quickly as possible, as well as to lessen the stress a change of role inevitably brings. In addition, she concentrates on executive- and team coaching. She has a proven track record in various branches like the manufacturing industry, retail, financial services and healthcare.

Anja is a member of the ‘Nederlandse Orde van Beroepscoaches’ (NOBCO), the professional association for Dutch coaching practitioners and chairs a peer coaching forum. She is personally engaged in the supervision and training of junior coaches and counselors.

It was in 2009 that Anja completed her academic training to become a counselor/coach at the Netherlands-based Academy for Counselling and Coaching. By 2010, she was in a position to start her own consultancy; InnerOut. She continues to work with InnerOut, advising people who want to achieve more with their talents and who wish to work and live with more energy, passion and fun.

Before moving in the direction of professional and personal coaching and counseling, Anja had already built a solid base in recruitment and Human Resources. She was one of the founding members of Yacht, a Dutch secondment and recruitment company (a subsidiary of Randstad Holding) where she took on the role of General Manager for the Utrecht unit. She then gained invaluable international experience, living and working for several years in France, Poland and the US while leading the recruitment of senior technical, financial and commercial employees for Nokia Poland. During her time in the US, she became director of PR and Advertising for the Holland-America Association.

Returning to the Netherlands in 2001, Anja then took on leadership of the HR department at consultants Horizon Energy Partners.

Open, empathetic and full of life, Anja brings energy, optimism and a can-do approach to every project. Her passion is people, and it shows! She never lets her focus on getting the best results interfere with her sense of humour.
