Senior Vice President, Quality and Talent

Mazza began her career with Diversified—and with the search industry itself—in 1981 as the company’s very first Director of Research, over time developing, refining, and managing the company’s key research and recruiting functions and processes. Over her years at Diversified she has been responsible not only for the oversight and management of the firm’s researchers, recruiters, and databases, but perhaps more important, for their quality as well.

In her current role, Mazza is responsible for the planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent search quality within the firm, and for continually seeking improvements in operations that can achieve even more effective and efficient searches. Just as important, she is responsible for inculcating cultural imperatives—the very values that guide Diversified—to both our employees and our clients.

In addition, she conducts select searches as designated by the Chairman and/or CEO; investigates and reviews new methodologies and technologies; and oversees the firm’s internal talent management, from identifying and recruiting in-house professionals across administrative functions to developing, implementing, and assessing processes related to employees’ orientation and onboarding, training, performance, and compensation.

Mazza is a Certified Practitioner of MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and has completed the Leadership Program of The Leaders Lyceum. A member of the Philadelphia Film Society, she was also a Founding Member of the Philadelphia Executive Search Research Roundtable.
