Alex Corvin

Managing Director

Alex Corvin is a Managing Director at Koya Partners, part of Diversified Search Group. Corvin specializes in recruiting Presidents, CEOs, Executive Directors, and other senior executives for mission-driven clients. She partners with a broad range of clients in the fields of philanthropy, arts & culture, social services, and membership organizations, among others.

Based in San Francisco, Corvin leads much of Koya Partners’ work in the Bay Area in addition to having a robust national practice. Corvin joined Koya Partners from Russell Reynolds Associates, where she helped build the Nonprofit and Education practice in the Midwest and worked with leading nonprofits across the country and around the world.

Her clients in the philanthropy sector include the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, as well as community foundations such as the San Francisco Foundation and the Marin Community Foundation. Corvin has successfully recruited the Presidents of membership associations, including Grantmakers in the Arts, Grantmakers for Education, and the National Public Education Support Fund. In social services, she has partnered extensively with the United Way in multiple cities and worked with the American Red Cross, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, and Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, among others. Corvin has deep experience with a range of cultural institutions, from large civic institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago, to specialized museums like the Rubin Museum, as well as leading regional museums.

Corvin began her career in education, working in low-income communities as a school counselor. In that role, she specialized in working with high school students making the transition to college.
