Linda McMillin is retired from Susquehanna University where she was Professor of History and Degenstein Professor of Leadership. During her long tenure at SU, she served as Provost, Dean of the Faculty, and Co-Chief Operating Officer from 2003-2010 and 2013-2018. She was named both Professor and Provost Emerita. Linda earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her undergraduate degree in theology and English is from Loyola Marymount University. She was the recipient of an American Council on Education Fellowship and more recently completed the Academy for Innovative Higher Education Leadership. Linda has published widely on medieval religious women, faculty professional identity, and higher education administrative practice. She is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and has coached many senior administrators.
