Jennifer Kooken

As a Consultant with Academic Search, Jennifer manages the search process, cultivates strong candidate pools, and works closely with clients and candidates throughout the search. She is intentional and well-versed in identifying, recruiting and engaging talented leaders for a broad range of clients. Jennifer has facilitated searches for system and institutional leaders, vice presidents, deans, and chief executive officers for higher education associations.
Jennifer joined Academic Search from Merrimack College where she served as Director of Business School Initiatives. In this role, Jennifer provided strategic and operational communications and event management support for the launch of new graduate and undergraduate programs and events. Prior, Jennifer collaborated with academic administrators and clients to develop engaging professional development programs for the Graduate Management Admission Council. She began her career in higher education as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for Babson College, where she helped create and implement strategies for increasing yield. Jennifer holds an M.B.A. from Babson College. She received her B.S. in Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Bucknell University.
