NGS Global Opens in Delhi
September 12, 2017 – Executive search firm NGS Global has expanded its presence in India with the opening of a new office in Delhi, which will be overseen by managing partner Soumitra Agarwal. He will work closely with client partner Kamna Vij.
As an executive search professional with years of experience, Mr. Agarwal has conducted a number of C-level and senior leadership search assignments for large, mid-sized and emerging enterprises across a variety of industries. He is also a member of the firm’s advanced technology, industrial, consumer, professional services, and financial services practice groups.
In addition to his background in executive search, Mr. Agarwal also has experience as an executive in operations, which leads to his ability to vet candidates ensuring that they are a cultural fit with organizations. He previously served as a partner with EMA Partners India.
Ms. Vij brings expertise in hospitality, financial services, technology, real estate and engineering industries, having worked in marketing and business development roles in these sectors. Prior to joining NGS Global, she was general manager – sales & marketing at Vatika Group and Hotels (Starwood), a real estate and hospitality major, where she was responsible for penetrating new markets and maintaining key client relationships. Before that, Ms. Vij was head of marketing and communications at Neilsoft, a global IT and engineering services firm. Her early career includes tenures in marketing at Hewlett-Packard and planning at Nucleus Software, a banking software products company.
Delhi Region
Delhi/ National Capital region is home to several global and Indian corporations engaged in services and manufacturing activity, in addition to a number of digital and fintech companies. Delhi is the largest commercial center in northern India. Key service industries are information technology, telecommunications, hotels, banking, media and tourism. Construction, power, health and community services and real estate are also important to the city’s economy.

They have both worked with executive positions in the private and the public sector, and have had a special focus on the oil & gas industry.

The firm also opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey. Can Onen will serve as managing partner of the new location. Mr. Onen has extensive experience conducting C-level and senior leadership search assignments for global and domestic companies from a broad range of industries, including energy, advanced technology, telecom, fast-moving consumer goods, retail, automotive and private equity. He was previously a managing partner for Turkey at Alexander Hughes.
NGS Global also added Gary Lazzarotto as managing partner and Alex Burr as senior associate in Sydney, Australia last year. Mr. Lazzarotto has 20-plus years of experience across the APAC region in the insurance and human resources industry in roles that range from consultant to CEO. His many executive search assignments include CEO, CFO, CIO and COO appointments, for ASX-listed, private and start-up organizations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. He was previously managing partner at Glasford International.
Mr. Burr’s background includes a number of regional CEO/CIO roles and senior technology roles for leading international IT and financial services providers throughout Australia and Asia, and in particular Japan, where he lived for 14 years. He was previously a partner with Glasford International.
