IRC Global Adds New Member Firm in Buenos Aires

September 5, 2018 – IRC Global Executive Search Partners (IRC) has added Buenos Aires-based executive recruiters HighFlow as its newest member firm.

The recruiting firm, which is now called IRC Argentina, specializes in the finance & banking and sales & marketing sectors.

The newest IRC member focuses on “customized solutions for clients, delivering the highest standards of quality and professionalism, ensuring outstanding results,” said IRC. The firm is led by partners Mauro L’Estrange and Federico Carrera.

Mr. L’Estrange has extensive experience in multinational companies and in the financial sector. He participated in the founding of Page Group in Uruguay and later led the finance team at Wall Chase. His focus is on the finance and banking sector, and he previously worked for such companies as Robert Bosch and Citibank.

Mr. Carrera, who specializes in sales and marketing, has extensive experience in commercial positions with multinational companies and SMEs. His background includes leading teams from Page Group and Wall Chase, and he has worked for organizations such as Colgate-Palmolive and L’Oreal.

“By joining IRC Global Executive Search Partners we will be able to help our clients find suitable candidates all over the world,” said Mr. Carrera. “By standardizing the service level and sharing the best practices of the market, we trust that IRC will allow us to reach our objectives and those of our clients.”

“The South American region is such a key part of the global economy and Argentina has always been a key country in the Americas,” said Rohan Carr, president of the IRC executive board. “We are excited to welcome our newest member aboard.”

Buoyed by rich natural resources, a highly literate population, a diversified industrial base, and an export-oriented agricultural sector, the  economy of Argentina is Latin America’s third-largest, and the second largest in South America. It has a “very high” rating on the Human Development Index and a relatively high GDP per capita, with a considerable internal market size and a growing share of the high-tech sector.

Global Consortium

IRC has partners in over 80 cities across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia. The consortium has completed more than 30,000 assignments for more than 3,000 clients in virtually every industry segment and function, according to the firm.

Late last year, IRC appointed Mr. Carr, director of IRC Australia (the Insight Group), as its new president. He succeeded Patrick Westerburger (IRC Netherlands), who served in the role since 2014. “Rohan is the right leader to take IRC to the next level,” said Mr. Westerburger. “He understands the challenges that our clients are facing both in traditional and emerging markets.”

Here’s a look at some recent expansion activity at the global consortium:

This past spring IRC named Tomasz Sokolowski, vice president of IRC Poland (HBK), as its new EMEA regional leader. He takes over from Gaye Özcan, managing partner of IRC Turkey and EMEA regional leader since 2014. Mr. Sokolowski has over 20 years of experience in the personnel consulting industry.

IRC recently expanded with the addition of the Office Limited in Hong Kong. Rachel Ta is the managing director and founder of the Office Limited. Its team consists of Ms. Ta, Daniel Tran and Chung Yeung. The firm’s core practices are consumer markets, industrial practice and human resources.

IRC added MEIHUNT Corporate Talent Management in Greece as its 47th member firm. It is now known as IRC Greece. MEIHUNT Corporate Talent Management specializes in the pharmaceutical, retail and FMCG sectors. The firm also offers coaching for leadership development and outplacement.
