IRC Adds New Partner In Greece

June 23, 2017 – IRC Global Executive Search Partners (IRC) has added MEIHUNT Corporate Talent Management in Greece as its 47th member firm. It will now be known as IRC Greece.

MEIHUNT Corporate Talent Management specializes in the pharmaceutical, retail and FMCG sectors. The firm also offers coaching for leadership development and outplacement. Founder and managing director Katerina Meimaroglou is a veteran in the consumer goods sector, with a strong history of placements in supply chain, logistics, procurement, marketing, finance, HR and operations and pharmaceuticals.

“We are happy to have a new partner in Greece,” said Patrick Westerburger, president of IRC. “This will further strengthen the position of IRC in the EMEA region and bring new opportunities for our partners and clients around the world.”

Greek Economy

Ms. Meimaroglou, who founded MEIHUNT last year, said the firm is joining IRC at a critical time for Greece. “We are confident that we are now able not only to offer our international clients a global proposition in terms of executive search and talent acquisition,” she said, “but also to nominate senior and C-level executives for international assignments to expand their careers abroad.”

“We have assembled an elite team of executives with hands-on experience and extensive knowledge across all major industries, at the very highest levels of management and operations and we are fully committed to delivering an outstanding client experience,” she added.

The Greek economy, which is mainly comprised of the service sector, tourism and industry, is classified as advanced and high-income. Forbes lists the largest companies in Greece as the Bank of Greece, Public Power, National Bank of Greece, Motor Oil, Alpha Bank, Hellenic Petroleum, EFG Eurobank Ergasias and Piraeus Bank. Greece has the 15th largest economy in the 27-member European Union.
