IIC Partners Continues Global Expansion

August 9, 2017 – Executive recruiters are seeing an increase in hiring mandates from all over the world. To meet the demand, they are continually developing new practices, hiring new recruiters and opening new locations. Global recruiting consortiums, meanwhile, are taking advantage of a resurgence in certain geographic areas.

For instance, IIC Partners Executive Search Worldwide has made five new consultant hire to its global offices in Brussels, Helsinki, London and Toronto recently. They represent search firms that are well-known and established in their respective fields of expertise.

New Additions

Hoffman & Associates, located in Brussels, appointed Joost Baelden as partner. With over 20 years of experience in C-level positions at large multinational corporations across Europe, Mr. Baelden has a deep understanding of the industrial sector. He specializes in identifying leaders in general management, sales, marketing, supply chain, people management, manufacturing and operations for international organizations. Mr. Baelden formerly served as a partner with INSIGHT – International Management Consultants.

JFP Executive Search, based in Helsinki, recently announced the appointment of Ari Mankki as a new partner. Prior to joining JFP Executive Search, Mr. Mankki spent more than 30 years in international development and management positions. He specializes in the industrial sector.

CurzonTrinitas, located in London, named Paul Marlowe as a new director. He has over 10 years of experience in senior financial appointments and specializes in the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining CurzonTrinitas, Mr. Marlowe led the infrastructure practice at Spencer Ogden.

Optimum Talent, based in Toronto, appointed Peter Zukow as president of Central Canada. Mr. Zukow has over 20 years experience leading one of Canada’s largest independent professional search firms. He is also a member of Presidents of Enterprising Organizations and sits on the boards of Kinark Child and Family Services and the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.

Optimum Talent, located in Toronto, named Matt Goff as vice president of client solutions. Prior to joining Optimum Talent, Mr. Goff served as managing director of SHL Talent Measurement Solutions, part of the Corporate Executive Board (CEB). At CEB, he spent 12 years in a variety of commercial roles in England and Canada, and five years in the sales effectiveness industry.

Continued Growth 

Since the beginning of the year, IIC Partners has seen a wave of growth in Amsterdam, Dubai, Milan, Singapore and Washington, D.C.

Recently, IIC brought CEO Search into its membership. The firm, located in Sofia, Bulgaria, extends IIC Partners’ global reach into what has become an emerging market for the search industry. CEO Search, founded in 2003 by Milen Ivanov, is an independent operation specializing in senior level and C-suite placements across a wide range of sectors. The firm delivers client-focused solutions across various industries both locally and internationally.

Holtrop Ravesloot, located in Amsterdam, appointed Boudewijn Vellinga as an associate partner. Mr. Vellinga has spent nearly 15 years in the financial services sector and specializes in executive search assignments from vice president to the C-suite. Previously, he was founding partner and a senior producer at search firm Newington International, where he specialized in placing professionals in risk management, quantitative analysis, structuring, sales, trading, research, origination and private wealth management in EMEA across FICC (rates, FX, credit and commodities) & equity.

Envision Partnership, based in Dubai, announced the appointment of Karin Legein as a partner. Ms. Legein has over 25 years in communications and branding and specializes in managing executive search and talent mandates across the Middle East and Europe. Formerly, she served as associate partner, Middle East and Africa, at DHR International.

Key2People, headquartered in Milan, appointed Daniela Mombelli and Uberto Thun-Hohenstein as partners in its industrial practice. Ms. Mombelli has nearly 20 years of expertise within the consulting sector and specializes in the industrial sector. She most recently served as managing director at Accenture and prior to that was a vice president of AlixPartners.

Dinte Executive Search, based in Washington, D.C., recently named Sam Dinte as senior associate. He specializes in both search and talent assessment mandates for corporations spanning the value chain and leading financial sponsors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dinte spent five years at Avascent, a global aerospace and defense consultancy.

IIC Partners also added Singapore-based Hofer Tan & Partners as a member firm marking its seventh office in the Asia Pacific region. Established over 20 years ago, Hofer Tan & Partners is a boutique search firm that specializes in senior-level executive and board search, leadership development and talent management mandates across industries and markets.
