PRAXI Adds New Member Firms In the U.K. and Africa

PRAXI members U.K. Cornerstone Talent and Summit Recruitment & Search Africa

November 28, 2017 – Global executive search consortium PRAXI Alliance Worldwide Executive Search has added U.K.-based Cornerstone Talent and Summit Recruitment & Search in Africa as its latest member firms. The PRAXI Alliance global network now spans four continents, with more than 30 countries and 70 offices worldwide.

Cornerstone Talent founders Tara Finlay and Ian Halfpenny leverage their experience as former corporate recruiters to offer clients HR solutions. Ms. Finlay has extensive recruitment experience having headed up international talent acquisition teams and research functions within the pharmaceutical and CRO industry. Mr. Halfpenny, who has been in talent acquisition since 1999, has worked in Europe, Asia-Pac and the U.S., in a variety of industries, most recently as head of international talent acquisition for Vertex Pharmaceuticals.

Summit Recruitment & Search, based in Nairobi, Kenya, is positioned to serve a wide range of industries across 11 African countries. The firm is led by managing director Sue Withers, who has a special interest in psychometric testing. She considers it an integral part of interviews as it helps identify a candidate’s personality and how well they would fit into an organizations culture said PRAXI. Before founding Summit, Ms. Withers was vice president for Asia Pacific at Pegasus.

“The recent addition of two new member firms is a significant step for us towards true worldwide coverage,” said director Fabio Sola. “Our delivery capabilities now extend to six continents, presenting new opportunities for us to serve our clients”.

Continued Expansion

PRAXI has experiences a recent wave of growth. In September, it gained Six Degrees Executive as a new member firm. Six Degree s, which has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, provides in-depth specialist recruitment, talent consulting and C-suite appointments for its Australian market clients. David Braham, Paul Hallam and Nick Hindhaugh founded the firm in 2004, and have focused on building a team with strong sector knowledge and the ability to deliver executive level talent.

In June, the consortium added Madrid-based executive search firm Development Systems SA as a member firm. Development Systems serves clients in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico and Chile. The firm is led by CEO Maite Fuentes who has spent more than 35 years building a strong transatlantic partnership dedicated to executive recruiting and organizational consulting.

The organization also recently announced the additions of GattiHR and Academic Search International as member firms. With offices in Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia, GattiHR specializes in executive search, workforce analytics and HR technology services. The firm offers workforce analytical services in climate assessment, employer branding, incentive design and talent management, among other areas. GattiHR is the parent company of Gatti & Associates, an HR-focused executive search firm in the U.S., and Armstrong Franklin, an executive search firm for manufacturing, engineering and supply chain professionals.

Academic Search International is based in Stockholm with additional offices in Malmo and Gothenburg. Founded in 1991, the firm provides recruiting services, interim consulting and leadership assessment. It is led by CEO Brune Tavell.

Earlier this year, PRAXI Alliance added Istanbul-headquartered executive search firm Talent Smart as a new member. A newcomer to executive recruiting, the firm is focused on growing its presence thanks to its strong position in assessment and development services through its affiliate, Assessment Systems, under CEO and founder, Levent Sevinc.
