Signium Continues Expansion

July 21, 2017 – Executive search firm Signium U.K. has named Andrew Dawson as director of its industrial practice, Paul Surridge as global head of leadership consulting, and Dominique Graham as global head of legal and professional services.

“The recognition of Paul’s international expertise in leadership consulting is a real compliment to the impact he has made in less than 12 months at Signium,” said Alastair Paton, managing partner of Signium U.K. and vice chair of Signium’s global board. “Andrew Dawson’s deep expertise and high profile in the energy, transportation, infrastructure and broader industrial sectors helps us build on our existing U.K. capability in these areas. Dominique helped pioneer executive search in private practice in the U.K. and has an unrivalled global network in law firms as well as with general counsel in the corporate world. In her new role, she will help grow Signium’s business across all 45 offices.”

Appointments

Mr. Dawson has more than 20 years’ experience in executive search in boutique as well as larger search firms. He was previously a key member of Hoggett Bowers’ senior leadership team and a former head of its industrial practice. He spent the past 18 years with the U.K.-based search firm. “I have followed the growth of the business in the U.K. over the past few years and saw their global agreement and rebranding to Signium in 2016,” said Mr. Dawson. “I feel that Signium offers me the opportunity to help lead the UK’s industry practice while also working with like-minded colleagues around the world. I am also excited to be able to introduce Signium’s leadership consulting capabilities to my clients.”

Mr. Surridge joined Signium from Korn Ferry, where he was a senior principal. He takes over the leadership consulting division from the Hong Kong-based founder of the practice, Kin Chong U. Signium’s consulting background and C-level contacts are a natural fit with leadership consulting services, and it has been gratifying to see the offering gain such deep traction with Signium’s global client base,” said Mr. Surridge. “I look forward to building on this with colleagues around the world.”

Ms. Graham was one of the founders of market-leading legal search and consulting firm Graham Gill, which became part of Signium U.K. in 2015. She takes over the leadership of legal and professional services from Toronto-based Carli Kinnear. Since we joined Signium, we have harnessed our expertise in the legal sector to a truly global organization with key offices around the world,” said Ms. Graham. “Signium’s consulting roots and leadership expertise has provided an obvious and complementary fit to our offering. I look forward to continuing to work with the Signium partnership in further developing legal and professional services.”
