London generates about 20 percent of the U.K.’s GDP, while the economy of the London metropolitan area — the largest in Europe — generates about 30 percent of the U.K.’s GDP. London’s largest industry is finance, and its financial exports make it a large contributor to the U.K.’s balance of payments. Along with professional services headquarters, the City of London is home to the Bank of England, London Stock Exchange, and Lloyd’s of London insurance market. Over half of the U.K.’s top 100 listed companies (the FTSE 100) and over 100 of Europe’s 500 largest companies have their headquarters in central London. Over 70 percent of the FTSE 100 are within London’s metropolitan area, and 75 percent of Fortune 500 companies have offices in London.
Outside the U.K., EMA Partners continues to expand its footprint globally.
In October, it added two new offices in South America with new locations in Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru, with the additions of TestaNova and Pera Consultores. Antonia Errázuriz is one of the founding partners of TestaNova, a firm that has served Santiago and the Chilean market for seven years, specializing in the areas of industrial, consumer, retail and financial services. These two offices join an expanding partnership of search firms in South and Central America that includes offices in Brazil and Panama City, and six offices in North America.
In June, EMA Partners grew with new offices in São Paulo and Campinas, Brazil, with the addition of Weplace Search & Leadership, which serves a wide range of services for a diverse portfolio of clients.

We believe this association will give us the opportunity to offer our services to international companies that are considering Panama as a strategic point for expanding their businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
