TRANSEARCH Launches New European Office
April 1, 2016 – TRANSEARCH International has launched a new office in Strasbourg, France with the addition of consultants from Neuman & Partners France. Marie-Helene Sohler and Gonzalo de Pedro join TRANSEARCH as managing directors, along with their support team of executive search professionals.
Ms. Sohler has been an executive search professional for the past 20 years and has a strong focus on the mechanical, automotive, building, food, pharmaceuticals, as well as the consumer goods & retail industries. She has built a strong network and has been supporting various large cap and mid-sized family-owned companies in France.
Most recently, Ms. Sohler was managing director of Neumann & Partners, a firm that was acquired by now-defunct CTPartners and subsequently acquired by Chicago-based DHR International as part of its asset acquisition of CTPartners last year. She began her executive search career in 1995, when she joined Neumann International as a principal in Paris.
Mr. de Pedro has over 20 years of experience in executive search. He has conducted hundreds of senior executive recruitments in a wide range of sectors with a strong focus on industry, financial services, retail and consumer goods. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, he served as a managing consultant in three global executive search firms: PA Consulting Group, Korn Ferry Futurestep and Neumann Partners.

Heiko Höfer and Agathe Bierling also join the new team in Strasbourg as client partners. Both also come to TRANSEARCH from Neumann & Partners France.
Starting in the executive search business in 2000, Mr. Höfer specializes in consulting clients on international assignments in the industrial, luxury, retail and public sector fields. He has a strong focus on recruitment of senior executives in a Franco-German and European context.
Ms. Bierling has gained more than 10 years of executive search experience in France and at the international level across a variety of sectors with a special focus on industry, consumer goods, and life sciences. She is specialized in cross-border searches and candidate sourcing strategies.

At the beginning of the year, it added Vanessa Fisk and Jack Khabbaz to its Middle East team as search consultants. Ms. Fisk, who joined TRANSEARCH in Dubai, has extensive experience across the financial services sector, holding a variety of C-suite positions in a number of global institutions in both advanced financial centers as well as emerging and underdeveloped markets. Mr. Khabbaz, who is a senior client partner in Dubai, has 16 years of recruitment, consulting and commercial experience across Australia and the UAE working on both the client and supplier side.
In December, TRANSEARCH strengthened its team in India with the additions of Ketaki Gupte, Radhika Vivek, and Anuj Roy. Ms. Gupte, who joined the firm as a director, has over 35 years of experience in the service and recruiting industry with knowledge in consumer markets, media, advertising, marketing and HR. Ms. Vivek, based in Mumbai, is a partner in the firm’s consumer practice as well as for the outsourcing & BPO practice of TRANSEARCH India. She has over 20 years of experience, over 17 years of which have been in executive search. Mr. Roy is a partner with TRANSEARCH India and heads the firm’s digital practice. He has more than 10 years of experience in executive search, consulting and strategy.
