eg.1 Opens First U.S. Office
April 4, 2016 – London-headquartered executive recruiting firm eg.1 has opened is first office in the U.S., establishing a new location in New York City. The firm will be led by Victoria Gumbley, who will assume the title of vice president of North America. She will relocate from London to New York.
The new office will bolster eg.1’s presence in North America as it continues to invest in its business and expand globally. The firm also has a presence in Paris, Dubai, Frankfurt, Singapore.
“We have opened this new office to support our continued growth in the U.S. Around 20 percent of our global business is now here,” said Nathan Ott, chief executive officer. “The opening of the New York office is an important extension of our network to better support our existing client base as so many of our clients have operations in North America.” He said the firm’s expanded team and new office will enable it to provide improved business intelligence and local, on-the-ground executive search support services to its clients.
Ms. Gumbley joined eg.1 as a research associate and progressed to engagement manager. She now focuses on a broad range of sectors and works across different corporate and cultural settings. Before eg.1, she served as an associate with U.K.-based executive search firm The Up Group.
