November 28, 2016 – Executive search and professional services firm hrQ has recently opened new offices into San Francisco, Atlanta and Philadelphia with the additions of Pam Brown, Carrie Magee and Kelly Morello, respectively.

The Bay Area

Ms. Brown joins hrQ as VP / managing director of the firm’s San Francisco office. She joins the firm with over 15 years of experience in the Bay Area and Europe. She served as an HR leader at LinkedIn during a period of rapid growth there and helped to build out its foundational leadership development and employee engagement programs. Ms. Brown went on to advise Bay Area growth companies on people strategy and talent management. Previously, she held leadership positions in finance, business development and international operations at Orange and KPMG.

“hrQ continues to invest in internal talent as a key element of our growth plan. The San Francisco Bay Area’s customer base is rapidly expanding and as such we are strategically adding to our team to meet the demand. Pam is the perfect addition and brings a blend of business and human resources leadership experience,” said CEO, Molly McCoy.

According to the San Francisco Bay Area Professional Employment Forecast from Robert Half, 52 percent of San Francisco Bay Area executives say it is ‘somewhat’ or ‘very challenging’ to find skilled candidates for professional-level positions; 77 percent of hiring managers plan to hire for open roles in the next six months.

Recruiters say highly skilled candidates are in great demand throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and they often receive multiple job offers with competitive compensation packages. As a result, there is growing demand for professional level candidates in accounting, finance, administration and technology.

“I’m thrilled to join hrQ because we share the same mission of elevating HR’s impact as a business partner and driver,” said Ms. Brown. “I look forward to helping Bay Area clients build their talent leadership and HR delivery.”

Ms. Magee joins hrQ as VP /  managing director based in Atlanta. She most recently held a line executive role with Citi where she led end-to-end customer experience across all functions of Citi Retail Services. Prior to that, Ms. Magee held human resources leadership positions with Citi, Johns Manville and General Mills.

Over 75 percent of the Fortune 1000 have a presence in the Atlanta area, and the region hosts roughly 1,250 multinational corporations. The Atlanta market is home to companies including Coca-Cola Co., Home Depot, UPS, Delta Air Lines and Turner Broadcasting.

“The Atlanta market is full of opportunity from both an HR talent and enterprise perspective, with 29 Fortune 1000 companies and burgeoning tech and entertainment sectors,” said Ms. Magee. “hrQ is excited to be a part of strengthening the broader business community through the strategic placement of the best HR talent in the market.”

Ms. Morello is leading hrQ’s launch in the Philadelphia market as VP / managing director. She has held HR leadership positions with several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from startup through growth phase. Most recently, she was the head of HR for the strategic solutions division of PRA Health Sciences. I look forward to engaging within the community to elevate HR and align the right talent with each company’s strategy.”
