EMA Partners Continues Expansion In South America
October 20, 2016 – EMA Partners International, global partnership of executive search professionals, has added two new offices in South America with new locations in Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru, with the additions of TestaNova and Pera Consultores. Antonia Errázuriz is one of the founding partners of TestaNova, a firm that has served Santiago and the Chilean market for seven years, specializing in the areas of industrial, consumer, retail and financial services.
Chile is one of South America’s most stable and prosperous nations, leading Latin American nations in human development, competitiveness, income per capita, globalization, economic freedom, and low perception of corruption. Since 2013, Chile has been considered by the World Bank as a “high-income” economy.
Ms. Errázuriz said that her clients will benefit from becoming part of EMA Partners. “Those clients that have established global businesses can now work with us here. With EMA, we know that we are working with partners who will provide our clients with the same high quality service that receive from us in Chile.”
César Pera and Isabel Luna founded Pera Consultores in 2014. Mr. Pera has been conducting executive searches for more than 30 years. Pera Consultores serves a select portfolio of clients from various industries, many of which have international presence or are expanding outside Peru. “Our company focuses on executive search, talent and assessment, and leadership development,” said Ms. Luna. “Since the beginning we have been a differentiator in the Peruvian market.”
Peru is one of the world’s fastest-growing economies owing to the economic boom experienced during the 2000s. The country is going through a time of great optimism, with growth expected to accelerate due to the approval of an ambitious market reform agenda.
A Key Player In Latin America
“I am so pleased that EMA Partners can count on two exceptional partners in Latin America,” said Jean Raymond, EMA regional chairman for the Americas. “These two firms will add strength to our organization given Isabel’s HR expertise and Cesar’s 30 years of experience in both HR and executive search. In Santiago, TestaNova serves an impressive list of companies in several sectors. South American markets have so much to offer, and are opening gateways to trade and commerce, and have become attractive partners for global growth, expansion and investment. No question, with these acquisitions, EMA is now a key player in Latin America.”
Continued Expansion
These two offices join an expanding partnership of search firms in South and Central America that includes offices in Brazil and Panama City, and six offices in North America.
In June, EMA Partners grew with new offices in São Paulo and Campinas, Brazil, with the addition of Weplace Search & Leadership, which serves a wide range of services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
EMA Partners also recently expanded into Panama with the addition of Carhei Consultores. Managing partner, Camilo Cardoze, said: “The association with an established international search firm will give us more exposure locally and internationally. We believe this association will give us the opportunity to offer our services to international companies that are considering Panama as a strategic point for expanding their businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
