February 1, 2018 – Sunrise, FL-based executive search firm StevenDouglas has expanded with the launch of a new office in Atlanta and the addition of David Mauger as a director of technology search.

Mr. Mauger will be responsible for developing the firm’s information technology search practice by leveraging his experience in recruiting executive and middle management professionals across cybersecurity, data and analytics, application development and emerging digital technologies in the greater Atlanta area. Mr. Mauger began his career with one of the largest information technology recruiting firms in the world. He was consistently the top producing recruiter within the IT search practice and grew his Atlanta-based team to be the organization’s most successful market in the country.

Most recently, Mr. Mauger was a principal consultant with TritonExec, a provider of executive search and talent advisory services for the professional and technology services industry. Before that, he was a practice director at Randstad Technologies US and earlier served as a consultant with Lucas Group.

Atlanta Market

“We are thrilled to have David join our team to develop the Atlanta marketplace,” said Matt Shore, president of StevenDouglas. “This expansion is in direct response to continued requests from existing clients with significant presence in the local market. Our office here will help us leverage the area’s diverse technology talent pool and expand our client footprint.”

Atlanta was chosen because it is rich in culture and international presence, said StevenDouglas. The area is also seeing rapid economic development.

The Atlanta market is full of opportunity from both an HR talent and enterprise perspective, said the firm, with 29 Fortune 1000 companies. In addition, over 75 percent of the Fortune 1000 have a presence in the Atlanta area, and the region hosts roughly 1,250 multinational corporations. The Atlanta market is also home to companies including Coca-Cola Co., Home Depot, UPS, Delta Air Lines and Turner Broadcasting.

Established in 1984, StevenDouglas is a boutique search and interim resources firm. Its client base is industry agnostic and ranges from start-ups and emerging middle market companies to Fortune 500 companies and public and private equity-owned firms. Recently, the firm expanded into Canada with the opening of a new office in Toronto. Navinder Binning, who joined StevenDouglas as vice president, leads the executive search business in the Canadian region.
