Head of Research

Chathuranga Bandara currently serves as Head of Research and is responsible for leading our talent sourcing team and activities across EMEA. In addition he is responsible for co-creation of search strategy development, conducting market research, approaching, identifying & screening candidates, candidate care and supporting business development initiatives. He works out of SpenglerFox’ offices in Dubai, UAE.

Chathuranga joined SpenglerFox in 2015 as Researcher. He works on Executive Search assignments for different sector, mainly focusing on life Science, FMCG and Industry Manufacturing projects in Middle East Africa and Turkey. ​

Chathuranga has over 7 years of combined experience in Human Resources, Recruitment and Executive Search. He has gained experience in both retained and contingency search where Chathuranga managed mid to senior-level bulk-hiring for clients both local and global and also, he has thorough experience in nationalization projects in UAE and KSA. He started his career as an HR Executive for the hospitality sector in Sri Lanka focusing on HR processes and Recruitment for 5-star city hotels in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Chathuranga holds a Bachelor’s in Electronic Business Management and Logistics from South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China.
