EMA Partners Expands Into Argentina
April 2, 2018 – EMA Partners International, a global partnership of executive search professionals, has strengthened its presence in the Americas with the addition of recruiting firm Airaldi Smart Human Connections in Buenos Aires. Lucrecia Airaldi has been appointed as the managing partner for EMA Partners Argentina.
Ms. Airaldi is the founder of Airaldi Smart Human Connections, the predecessor firm for EMA Partners Argentina. Since 2007, the firm has built a track record specializing in C-suite executive search engagements across the consumer & retail, technology, telecommunications and luxury goods sectors in the region.
“An office in Buenos Aires is a logical extension to our Americas region and fulfils a long-standing client need for on the ground coverage of this key market,” said Chris Pantelidis, EMA Partners’ regional chair for the Americas. “We are excited about the collaboration opportunities between EMA Partners Argentina and our other offices in the region, and are convinced this will be to the benefit of our multinational and local clients.”

Expanding Global Footprint
Since 1988, EMA Partners has partnered with multinational corporations, governments and not-for-profit organizations across a variety of industry sectors and functional areas. It has more than 40 offices on six continents, and the firm continues to expand globally.
Recently, the organization opened a new partner office in Dubai, expanding its presence in the Middle East. The office is led by A Ramachandran (Rama). He has 10 years of experience in executive search and serves concurrently as senior partner at EMA Partners India, where he leads the industrial, consumer and retail practices. He has significant experience leading executive search assignments in various industries across India and the region.
EMA Partners Names Global Chairman
EMA Partners elected Alberto Miranda as its global chairman. He has served on the organization’s executive committee and held the position of VP of finance. Mr. Miranda has more than 20 years’ experience in executive search, undertaking senior management assignments across a range of sectors.
Last year, EMA Partners formed a joint venture with Decision Dynamics AB, a global provider of solutions for leadership and talent management. The organization now has access to Decision Dynamics’ tools, which it will deploy across its leadership search engagements, and also through its leadership consulting practice, to offer solutions to clients in leadership development, performance management, engagement and retention, and identification of high potential talent.
The firm also opened a new office in London, adding managing partners Alison Ryan and Phil Sharp, who together have more than 35 years experience in executive search. Ms. Ryan has assisted organizations across market sectors to identify executive talent for a range of functions, including finance, sales, operations and marketing. She also advises start-ups on recruitment strategies, and assists venture capitalists with board selection. Mr. Sharp began his career in executive search and continues to work alongside many international organizations and global brands.
