Mr. Zhu has over 15 years of global executive search experience, primarily focused on Greater China, Japan, South East Asia, India, and other global emerging markets. He specializes in senior-level searches in various industry sectors including consumer FMCG, Luxury, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Airliner, Power and Energy, industrial and professional services.

He successfully completed searches at C-level and various function leadership positions across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Corporate Affairs, R&D, Legal, IT, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, M&A, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.

He has extensive experience in leading large scope talent mapping and leadership pipeline building projects for global fortune 100 companies across Greater China and Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Bó Lè Associates, Michael Zhu was the Global Engagement Director for an Australian and French-based premium boutique execution search firm based in China, Japan and Australia. He managed the entire search process and acted as the point of contact for top potential talents globally.

He is a professional tennis champion in China in his early career. As an international minded consultant, he has studied and worked in Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto for over 20 years. He received his MBA and Bachelor in International Business Management from Charles Sturt University in Australia.

He is a native Chinese from Shanghai, speaks fluent English, Chinese and Japanese.
