Jonathan Falconer is a Managing Partner at NGS Global and is based in Tokyo. He is a key member of the company’s Industrial, Infrastructure and Sustainability, and Professional Services practices. Mr. Falconer focuses on senior management assignments for foreign affiliated companies in Japan and across Asia. He primarily fills regional, country representative and senior leadership roles. He works with American and European SME`s as well as several larger Japanese multinationals.
Mr. Falconer’s search experience began in 2001 in Japan, where he was a Partner in a large Japanese executive search firm and managed the Industrial practice. Thereafter, he co-founded Beaumont K.K. and The Beaumont Group CVBA (HQ: Brussels) in 2007 where he co-led the Asian business until its acquisition by Harvey Nash PLC beginning in August 2014.
He has extensive experience in Cleantech, Smart Grid and Utilities, New Technology, Manufacturing, Consumer and Retail as well as top-tier Management Consulting. In all sectors he has been instrumental in driving growth at Fortune 100 and privately owned enterprises.
Mr. Falconer is South African and attended Rhodes University, graduating with a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology. He has lived in Asia since 1999, firstly in Taiwan and then Tokyo. He is a passionate surfer, snowboarder and triathlete.
