David Spencer is a Managing Partner, South East Asia at NGS Global. Based in Australia, he works extensively with executive leadership teams in commercial and government organizations and with technology services providers.
Mr. Spencer is a Founding Partner of ARBITER Leadership Technologies™.
Mr. Spencer has over 15 years of executive search and leadership advisory experience and has completed assignments in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region across a wide range of sectors, including technology, government, professional services, industrial and consumer.
Mr. Spencer was a Founding Partner at EWK International in South East Asia, a business that has since integrated with NGS Global. Prior to joining EWK International, Mr. Spencer was a partner at Highland Partners Asia Pacific, where he undertook substantial combined programs of leadership assessment and search work, especially in the enterprise IT area. He was previously a Senior Associate at Korn/Ferry International in the Global Technology Practice.
Mr. Spencer’s career until early 2000 was in human resources management. After an early career in the manufacturing sector, he joined North Limited, a diversified resources group, as Human Resources Projects Manager. Mr. Spencer subsequently joined Datacraft Limited as Group Human Resources Manager. He then joined Solace Limited, a software business providing core systems for the financial services sector, as Group Human Resources Manager. His main focus in HR roles was change management, resource and succession planning and remuneration policy on an international basis.
Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University, and Graduate Diplomas in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from Victoria University
