Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development, Steve oversees the growth of FGP’s Executive Search, Professional Staffing and Human Resources practices. He is also a Senior Talent Consultant and works with clients across all industries to assess, develop and promote growth in individuals throughout each organization.

Steve is engaged in developing new and existing relationships globally for FGP’s core areas of emphasis; accounting and finance, healthcare, manufacturing and engineering, nonprofit and technology. With more than 25 years in talent acquisition, he is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and frequent speaker on recruitment and organizational leadership.

The longest tenured member of the firm, Steve has played a vital role in the management of what has become one of the fastest growing recruitment and staffing firms in the country. He was instrumental in FGP’s initial launch in technology recruiting back in 1990. For a period of five years he led FGP’s Executive Search division and revenues grew 500%.

Prior to serving as the Director of FGP’s Executive Search Division, Steve was a Sr. Executive Search Consultant for 16 years at FGP (previously Phillips International). His focus was primarily in IT placements within the banking, grocery, manufacturing, retail, and warehousing/distribution industries.

Steve is active in the South Carolina community serving on the Board of Commissioners for Palmetto Pride, the Board of Directors for Water of Life, and the Greenville Tech Foundation Board. He is also on the SC Affairs Advisory Council and Greenville Health System Patewood’s Advisory Council. Finally, Steve is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina, Leadership Greenville and Leadership Greer.
